USS Minneapolis Saint Paul (LCS 21) Sailors participate in Minneapolis Navy Week

As part of NAVY WEEK in the Twin Cities 11 sailors from across the country, assigned to USS Minneapolis Saint Paul (LCS 21), completed a ton of fall yard cleanup work in a short time at Living Well Disability Services in Brooklyn Center on September 29, 2021.   Living Well Disability Services currently operates 37 homes in 20 communities. They currently serve over 300 adults and young adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities and have over 500 professional staff including direct care providers, occupational therapists, medical and support staff.

The LCS crew dug up overgrowth, pulled weeds, raked, swept, cleaned gutters and siding, and trimmed shrubs.   Stacey and Dennis from Living Well joined in with them and were lucky to each receive a special Challenge Coin on behalf of the crew’s commanding officer.
