SHIPS

One of the primary ways the Navy League supports the sea services is through unit and ship adoptions. The Minnesota Council has adopted ships that bear the name of Minnesota or Minnesota cities as well as Coast Guard Ships homeported in the state. We provide assistance to these ships through awards, invitations to attend events, financial support, scholarships, ship visits, emergency support, family support and more.

USS Minnesota (SSN 783) celebrated her 10 year anniversary in September 2023. The Minnesota Council was able to participate in in interviews with KSTP. The USS Minnesota Turns 10 - KSTP.com 5 Eyewitness News
