The Navy League of the United States Minnesota Council is proud to host a joint U.S. Navy’s/Marine Corps Birthday Ball. The ball will be held at the Mystic Lake Casino and Conference Center in Prior Lake, MN on October 15, 2022. Mystic Lake will provide all attendees to the ball, $10 of casino credit on the Mystic Card.
Naval Commands supporting this event are the Naval Reserve Center (NRC), University of Minnesota Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), and Naval Talent Acquisition Group – Northern Plains (NTAG).
Marine Corps Commands supporting this event are the Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 471, and Marine Corps Recruiting.
Since 1972, each CNO has encouraged a Navy-wide birthday celebration to enhance a greater appreciation of our Navy heritage, and to provide a positive influence toward pride and professionalism in the naval service. The Navy League is honored to host this celebration of the Navy’s birthday in Minnesota. Please join us as we honor 247 years of Naval service to our country. This year’s theme is “On Watch 24/7 for 247 Years”
The event will run from 05:30 pm to Midnight in the Minnetonka Ballroom at Mystic Lake. There will be a happy hour with a cash bar, dinner, a formal cake cutting ceremony, guest speaker and dancing.
