Community Engagement
This quarter, Outreach North Vice President, Joyce Lacey has participated in parades in Woodbury, Inver Grove Heights, and North Saint Paul. She also spoke with attendees at the Minnesota State Fair, volunteered at the AUSA 23rd Annual General John W. Vessey Jr. Golf Tournament where she was on their committee and got door prizes to give away at the event.
Outreach North continues working with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, Veterans Homes and Hospitals to deliver socks, hand cleanser and other necessities. She also spoke briefly at the monthly meetings for Ashby American Legion, VFW and Lions Club informing them of the benefits of joining the Navy League. She also volunteered for the Gold Star Foundation Motorcycle Ride that raises money and awareness for Gold Star families and the Boots on the Ground Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run Fundraiser for the Veterans Home in Fergus Falls.
